The history of the Secci family is a fascinating tale of commitment, innovation and deep roots that span decades of change and success.
It all began in the 1940s, when the Secci family left Sardinia to move to Fiumicino, bringing with them their entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to build something unique. In 1947, the Seccis opened a ballroom in the historic center of Fiumicino, a meeting place and entertainment that quickly became a point of reference for the local community. It was an era in which social life revolved around spaces like this, and the Secci family knew how to capture the spirit of the times.
In 1960, following the evolution of the tastes and needs of the clientele, the ballroom was transformed into a bar with gaming rooms. This place, modern and innovative for the time, continued to represent a meeting point for the inhabitants of Fiumicino, consolidating the name of the Secci family as a synonym of hospitality and entertainment.
In 2009, after more than three decades of success in Casal Palocco, the Secci family decided to return to their origins. On the same area where the bar with gaming rooms once stood, they inaugurated the Seccy Hotel Boutique, un progetto che univa eleganza, comfort e storia.
The works of art and installations in its rooms revisit the glories of Rome with a modern look, offering guests a unique experience, where history and design meet.

The mosaics of the Seccy Hotel Art & Museum are extraordinary reinterpretations of original works, created with an innovative technique that uses micro paesine of different colors. These small fragments of natural stones, worked with extreme precision, create a play of movement and light that gives the works an unexpected beauty and vitality. The skillful use of chromatic tones and materials allows us to recreate refined details, giving depth and dynamism to each mosaic. The combination of tradition and modernity transforms these works into authentic masterpieces, capable of reinterpreting ancient Roman mosaic art in a contemporary key. Each mosaic tells a story: scenes inspired by mythology, everyday life or nature are transformed into vibrant and luminous compositions, capturing the gaze and arousing emotions. The light, reflected by the irregular surfaces of the micro paesine, creates a three-dimensional effect that makes each work unique and unrepeatable.
At Seccy Hotel FiumicinoThe bas-reliefs of the Seccy Hotel Art & Museum are works that embody the charm of the ancient Roman sculptural tradition, revisited with a contemporary artistic approach. Each bas-relief is a tribute to classical art, with scenes depicting epic moments of Roman history, mythological figures and decorative details that recall the cultural heritage of the Empire. Made with fine materials and a technique that mixes artisanal precision and modern sensitivity, the bas-reliefs skillfully play with depth, creating a chiaroscuro effect that enhances the shapes and gives a sense of movement and life. The light, sliding on the sculpted surfaces, highlights every detail, from the expressions of the faces to the folds of the clothes, making each work an engaging visual experience.
At Seccy Hotel FiumicinoThe statues of the Seccy Hotel Art & Museum celebrate some of the most venerated gods of ancient Rome, offering an artistic reinterpretation that combines classicism and modernity. Among the deities represented, iconic figures such as Venus, Diana and Juno stand out, each depicted with details that enhance their symbolism and their role in Roman mythology. Venus Goddess of love, beauty and fertility, Venus is represented with elegant and harmonious lines that recall her grace and eternal charm. The sculpture emphasizes the delicacy of her forms and the sensuality of her bearing, evoking the ideal of classical beauty and the power of love. Diana Goddess of the hunt, the moon and protector of the wild, Diana is depicted in a dynamic posture, often accompanied by her distinctive symbols, such as the bow and the deer. The statue captures her strength, her free spirit and her connection with nature, transmitting a sense of energy and independence. Juno Queen of the gods and protector of marriage and family, Juno is depicted with a regal bearing, a symbol of her authority and majesty. The refined details of her clothing and accessories, such as the crown, reflect her importance as a divine figure and spiritual guide.
